It’s not unusual for Brogan Brands LLC to be asked the following question…
“Do you think this is possible?”
That was the question Print Leaders owner Bill Paulot and the marketing team at the Martin Group asked Tom Oliver in a meeting regarding utilizing the large glass and metal façade of the Buffalo General Medical Center Tower to market a new program being offered. Buffalo General, Kaleida Health and the their marketing firm, The Martin Group, were beginning a major new campaign and wanted a new way to brand the hospital and it’s programs. As we do with any large or small project, Brogan Brands noted the objective, accessed the building front, checked the architectural components and offered up two solutions.
Kaleida Health wanted to wrap the Buffalo General Medical Center Tower with a Grand Format Image which would be 70’ x 70’ and attached to the building facing the heart of downtown Buffalo from the 20th floor down. Those two solutions were to attach cabling to the building and then hanging a large 70’ x 70” mesh banner, or wrap the building façade in vinyl. After meeting with the hospital engineering firm and leadership team the vinyl option was chosen. Buffalo can get pretty windy… The next steps were art approval, permitting, scheduling for print and then installation. And this has to take place late October or early November of 2015. At Brogan Brands we can control printing and production, however scheduling an exterior vinyl installation in that time of year in Buffalo can be pretty complicated if the weather is not helpful. Thankfully our staging was hung, the weather cooperated and the week prior to Thanksgiving a team of installers hung the vinyl. Today the Buffalo skyline is being utilized to brand the important health services offered at Buffalo General Medical Center.
